Of all my lifetime, I have been trying to fix my "aesthetic". From the word I mean, how things look for me in general and how I make them look, I think that my idea of how you perceive me depends on my colors, profile pictures, what I write, and what links I add (I know it is annoying and overthinking).
While I think of it, the best solution to this problem is to take your time. Don't make changes immediately. If you have something to add, remove, or modify, prepare a draft and give it some time. It will eventually work out.
Today I edited my about page to make it short and less vague. I was also going through Pinterest in the morning to pick up a new PFP for me and eventually settled for one with a cat in it. I love cats, and orange cats even more. I also want to fix how my browser looks. Maybe something which you make from scratch based on how you want it to look? But that's simply over-complicating your life for unnecessary reasons.
I think maybe I should re-read books by Carl Newport. There is so much alpha in his essays and writings that can change your life for good.
Rants apart, I think change is still a very good law of nature. When you change something, you are iterating on things you already had and want to do it according to your taste to feel how you are and how you want to be perceived by everyone. I think most of the times it is okay to keep changing things but the feeling of perfection should not take a front seat.
